Strzegom Horse Trials is the biggest equestrian event in this part of Europe. Between 25th-28th of June 2015 Strzegom will become a world equestrian capital for thirteenth time. During this unique festive seven international competitions will take place CIC1*, CIC1*J, CCI1*, CIC2*, CCI2*, CCI3* and CICO3* which is a leg of the Nations Cup series. The prize fund will be 28 000 Euros.
There will be five international events in eveting this year in Strzegom. Two new competitions were put in the calendar: one at the beginning of May and the second at the end of October. And these two will take place besides the well known every year Strzegom Horse Trials in June and Strzegom Autumn Show in September. Moreover Strzegom will be hosting European Championships for Young Riders in Eventing this year. Between 1st and 3rd of May, aside from national classes, an international CCI* will be held.
Strzegom Horse Trials 2014 is over. It was one of the most important equestrian event of the year in Poland.
In a week riders, which we have seen at the hippodrome in Moravia will start in Aachen, where will be the fifth meeting in the series Nations Cup Eventing 2014.
We have just finished Strzegom Horse Trials during which another competition of Nations Cup Series 2014, the most prestigious series of International Equestrian Federation, took place. The event was run for all five days. There were six competitions in which almost 270 pairs from all over the world took part. As always the best riders didn’t forget about Strzegom Horse Trials. This year eventing lovers could watch live the current World Champion and double Gold Medalist of Olympic Games at the same time- Michael Jung. Among the well known riders were also the seven-time Olympian and three-time Olympic Games Medalist Andrew Hoy as well as current European Champion- Dirk Schrade.
After the last test of the Nations Cup at the Hippodrome in Moravia once again sounded anthem of Germany. German team led from the first day (after dressage test) winning with over 30 points to Great Britain.
For eventing fans it is certainly not a big surprise, because of the Germany representation: "the golden trio" of the last Olympic Games: Michael Jung, Dirk Schrade and Sandra Auffarth.
